Dashmetry Rockin With Me

Dashmetry Rockin With Me bends the concept of a typical platformer. Each jump is no longer a single action but becomes part of a continuous sequence of movements.

Mechanical Sliding In Virtual Space

You not only control the character but also slide according to the invisible logic of sound. The game creates a seamless flow, forcing the player to immerse themselves in the operating structure. The space is built like a vibrant, symmetrical blueprint. Each platform block, each pillar, and each void has a clear purpose. Neon lights are not just for decoration but also act as guiding signals. Each jump, each orb touch, synchronizes with the music beat, creating the feeling that you are playing music. Starting with cubes on smiley face blocks, the game offers a light but not overly complex experience. The initial slides serve as a stepping stone to familiarize the player with the rhythm. But soon after, a push from the yellow pad opens up a series of continuous transformations. No more stable ground — only split-second decisions remain.

The Constantly Changing Platform Flow

Entering the ship segment, the space expands but also becomes more demanding. The wide corridors, seemingly easy to control, require an extremely stable rhythm. The game doesn't force you to go faster immediately but subtly increases the pressure through the appearance of mini-ships. Returning to the cube form, the platforming truly begins to show its frustration. Vertical pillars, the gaps between platforms, and the orb system are always ready to challenge the player. The gradually dimming light reduces visibility and creates psychological pressure.

One of the most characteristic sections of the level is the portal drop sequence. The character almost doesn't actively jump but is swept into the continuous flow of falling objects. The green and yellow gates constantly shift gravity, blurring the lines of direction. This is where the game tests the player's situational awareness. You no longer react instinctively but must adapt to every change that occurs in an instant. Short breaks on a stable platform are not rewards, but rather a springboard before entering the next stage. The UFO segment opens up a structure of eight symmetrical chambers, like a duplicated maze. Each chamber requires the same type of control but with increasing pressure. The final section brings the player back to the cube, but without the initial ease. Jumps over pillars and spikes are densely arranged, demanding near-perfect precision. And upon reaching the finish line, the feeling of accomplishment comes from truly mastering the entire level's rhythm.
