Dashmetry Deserted enters the platformer world as a short but high-pressure journey. In the hot, dry desert setting, players control icons with a series of precise actions.

A Unique Start To A Speed Challenge
The golden sand combined with sharp-edged blocks creates a tense atmosphere throughout the gameplay. The rapid transitions between mechanics make each jump a decisive moment. The design focuses on continuous pace in a confined space. The levels feature numerous single blocks, spikes, and gravity gates interspersed, creating a series of quick reflexes. Players have to keep up with the character's movement and adjust their position precisely in each frame. The combination of static traps and size-changing gates keeps the path constantly changing, ensuring a tense experience.
45 Seconds Through Gameplay Mechanics
The gameplay begins in cube mode with short jumps on spiked ground. The distance between blocks is quite narrow, so timing is crucial. Just a few seconds later, the character switches to a mini-ship and flies over trap-strewn hills. In the ship section, the player maintains a stable altitude to avoid the spikes on the ceiling and ground. The next area takes the gameplay to ball mode with gravity-shifting portals. This mechanism causes the direction of movement to change constantly, creating a feeling of sudden reversals in the desert. The golden orbs are followed by waves that are shorter in length. Narrow corridors and rough terrain require precise zigzag movements. Upon returning to the cube, Dashmetry Deserted places the player before the final platform with even more spikes.
